NN Mahapatra pens book on dyeing

Dr NN Mahapatra, BSc in textile chemistry from UDCT, has written a book on textile dyes and dyeing. The book is written based on the 30 years of practical experience of the author working in various textile mills in India and abroad. This book will be very helpful to textile students to know how various processes work practically in the textile industries.

Published by APH Publishing Corporation, the book is and is available for Rs 1,495. The book is also helpful to supervisors working on the shop floor of various dye houses and process houses. The author explains one of the latest subjects in printing known as ink jet printing.

Dr Mahapatra is presently working as VP-BP of Colorant Ltd. He has contributed more than 191 papers in textile journals, having international circulation and presented more than 24 technical papers in various seminars in the country and abroad.
