Subhash Deshmukh: A philanthropist

Subhash Deshmukh is Minister of Textiles, Government of Maharashtra. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and represents the Solapur South constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He is currently the Cabinet minister for Cooperation, Marketing and Textiles in the Government of Maharashtra. He was the Vice President, BJP Maharashtra during 2010- 2013. He has initiated a plethora of social service projects, which over the years have grown like a large banyan tree in and around Solapur. Deshmukh’s commitment towards quality education has resulted in a large network of educational institutions consisting of pre-primary, primary and secondary schools, colleges and institutes of higher learning.
