SRTEPC honours RIL with 5 gold trophies

The Synthetic & Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC), one of the oldest export promotion councils in India, has conferred Reliance Industries (RIL) with a series of awards for its exceptional performance in exports of fibres and yarns. RIL’s president, polyester chain, has also been recognised for his contribution in the textiles industry.

RJ Udeshi, a member RIL’s leadership management team for over three decades, has played a key role in the growth of RIL’s polyester chain business. Udeshi who is also the president of the Association of Synthetics Fibre Industry has been awarded with SRTEPC lifetime achievement award for his outstanding contribution in the development and growth of manmade fibre and fabric industry in India. RIL has been honoured with gold trophies for best export performance in the categories of overall exports, polyester staple fibre, continuous yarn and fibre and yarn exports to Latin American and African countries.
