With the aim of upgrading knowledge base and skill levels of personnel of the apparel industry along with ATDC faculty resources, the Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC), India’s largest vocational training provider for the apparel sector, has organised a two-day long workshop on ‘Apparel Product-Quality Assurance’. The workshop was conducted recently at ATDC Hub Faridabad.

The world technical textiles market has been growing at a rate of 5 to 7 per cent since 2010, when its size was $116.5 billion, which rose to $147 billion in 2014. The size of the production in these years were 22.5 million tonnes in 2010 and 28.4 million tonnes in 2014, which is expected to touch 38.2 million tonnes by 2020.
