Applications open till May 14 for investors under Rising Rajasthan MoUs

Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has started the allotment process for industrial plots at Rupaheri Textile Park in Bhilwara under the 10th phase of its direct allotment scheme. The initiative is aimed at attracting investors planning to set up textile manufacturing units in the state.

Under the scheme, applicants can apply for plots ranging from 1,500 sq metres to 36,000 sq metres. Investors who signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Rajasthan government during the Rising Rajasthan summit are eligible to submit applications online through RIICO’s portal till May 14, 2026.

A RIICO official said investors who have not yet executed MoUs can still do so before the deadline in order to become eligible for the allotment scheme.

The Rupaheri Textile Park is designed to support a wide range of textile-related industries, including cotton and natural fibre units, man-made fibre manufacturing, garments and ready-made apparel, technical textiles, handloom and handicrafts, wool processing and textile accessories.

Located in Hurda tehsil, the park spans 209 hectares and includes 275 industrial plots, with plot sizes ranging from 500 sq metres to 1,25,000 sq metres. RIICO said the park is being developed with infrastructure facilities suitable for spinning, weaving, processing and garment manufacturing operations.

The corporation has approved an investment of Rs 221 crore for the development of the project. Construction work on roads, culverts, boundary walls and power infrastructure, including high-mast lighting, is currently underway. The project has also received environmental clearance from the state-level Impact Assessment Authority.

Investors setting up units at the park will be eligible for incentives under the Rajasthan Textile and Apparel Policy 2025, including support for asset creation over a 10-year period, exemptions on stamp duty and electricity duty, incentives for adopting sustainable solutions, and reimbursement of up to 50 percent of employee training costs.

Additional benefits will also be available to micro, small and medium enterprises under the Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024.
