ANDRITZ, an international technology Group,
has received an order from Renaissance Textile. The order is related to the
delivery of a complete recycling line for the company’s first recycling
platform in France.

The start-up of
this recycling line is scheduled for the end of Q2 2022. ANDRITZ Laroche is
going to offer a complete recycling line. The process involves opening the
consumer waste fibres and then mixing them with virgin fibres. This mixture is
later spun again to produce new textiles.

The target of
Renaissance Textile is to become the first French recycling platform dedicated
to end-of-life textiles. The company is also planning to open a new plant which
will cover approximately 12,000 square meters. According to Renaissance
Textiles, President, Christophe Lambert, the company always wanted a partner
who is able to offer tailor-made and sustainable solutions. The company is
well-aware of Christophe Lambert, hence, the company started running its trials
at their technical centre. He said that ANDRITZ is the right partner and the
company can totally rely on their process experts.

This order is
not only going to allow ANDRITZ to demonstrate its ability to support
highly specialized equipment that will match the requirements of the customers
and also will be able to showcase its product portfolio and expertise for
sustainable solutions.
