ICA Bremen´the global centre for cotton testing, research and quality related issues´has announced it will deliver its next training programme from July 7-16 in Bremen, Germany and registration is now open.
The eight-day training covers a series of modules delivered by industry experts from ICA Bremen, the Bremen Fibre Institute (FIBRE) and other leading companies; from classifying various growths of cotton to practical HVI training on the latest equipment´ including Uster 1000 and Premier ART2.
Karsten Froese of ICA Bremen, explains: ´Last year we introduced new sessions to give participants a basic knowledge about spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing and the requirements on the quality of raw cotton fibre, we have listened to feedback and decided to continue providing those sessions to give participants a useful overview. The training will still focus around the quality of raw fibre and as always, participants will also receive personal attention to meet the individual needs of their firms. Last year´s programme was a sell-out and we expect this year to be the same´
Mason Karimi (Saba Tejarat Atlas) one last year´s delegates said: ´I learned a lot and really enjoyed the training. Mostly, I loved the enthusiasm of these guys in sharing their knowledge and experiences with us.´
The programme is aimed at individuals who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge in cotton classing and testing. Full details, including how to register, can be found at www.ica-bremen.org
