Prashant Yadav to head SRF’s Technical Textiles biz

SRF, the
manufacturer of industrial and speciality intermediates, has made major changes
in key managerial personnel.

The board of the company has approved the appointment of Prashant
Yadav as the President and CEO of Fluorochemicals Business & Technical
Textiles Business. Another position approved by the board is the superannuation
of Sanjay Chatrath, President and CEO of Technical Textile Business. It was
also noted by the board that Arun Bharat Ram has shown his intention to step
down as the Executive Chairman and Director of the Company. The company said
that the company doesn’t want to lose a human assert as great as him, so SRF
has suggested to appoint him as “Chairman Emeritus” of the Company for five
years with effect from April 1, 2022.

The company has also reported a growth of 74.7% in total sales revenues for the June 21 Quarter. The
net profit for the same quarter was up by 123.21% and EBITDA was stable.
