Picanol at their best in weaving business

Picanol participated at ITMACH exhibition, which was held at the Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad from 7-10 December 2017. This event was one of the largest textile machinery exhibitions of 2017 in the country and included participation from over 10 countries including India, China, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherland, Turkey, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Picanol NV Belgium was located in Stall No.D-40/41 & E-33/34 in Hall-6 and displayed their airjet looms – OMNIplus Summum.

P Kasiviswanathan, Executive Director of Picanol India Pvt Ltd, said, “There was a dedicated sales, service and aftermarket team available in the stall to receive the customer and new prospects and explain about the new features and the performance of the machine. OMNIplus Summum was running on denim fabric with weavers Beam and weft yarn from Arvind Ltd and typical style of Denim was running in all four days at highest speed of 1,050 rpm on latest Dobby S3260 with 12 frames.”

He added that continued flow of visitors and ever building crowd whenever the machine was running is a proof that people are very much interested in seeing new technology and innovation. He said, “Intense business discussion also showed customers interest in doing investments to avail state and Centre Subsidy in the year 2018/9.”

“Through the event, we could see reference video on latest installation of OMNIplus Summum and Optimax-I are running showing the performance on various articles viz. bottom wear, denim, grey poplin, car sheet and conveyor belt, etc. together with personal interview of the directors and president of the companies sharing their experience with Picanol product and company,” added P Kasiviswanathan.
