Peass Industrial Engineers, based in Navsari, Gujarat, held an inauguration ceremony of its additional assembly facility at Navsari on January 17, 2020.

Amit Bhandari, Senior Vice President, Welspun India, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Bhandari expressed his satisfaction with the decade’s long excellent relationship between Welspun and Peass and also had a word of appreciation for continuous efforts of Peass towards bringing in automation and efficient working practices in textile machinery sector. He motivated the listeners by giving an overall idea about the trends in global machines and challenging them to achieve similar finesse and aim for global leadership following “Make in India” policy.

The new assembly facility was inaugurated by the lighting of lamps and ribbon cutting in the presence of associates, business partners and well-wishers. This was followed by a guided tour of the facility for the guests. The latest concepts of manufacturing with focus on consistent world class quality and productivity were highlighted.

The need for additional assembly capacity was felt as the present facilities were insufficient to cater to the growing demand for Peass’ products. Apart from this, the main facility is located in the heart of the city and this hampered the logistics of continuous machine dispatches, in particular containers for export. With this facility, the company is now poised to further meet the demands of the Indian textile industry as it has been doing for the last 57 years.

The company directors once again highlighted the contribution of company employees, both past and present, who have been instrumental in making the company what it is today. Peass looks forward to continue being a reliable, innovative and trustworthy partner to the Indian textile industry and continue to deliver quality and value to its customers.
