Oerlikon to aid sustainability in Indian MMF industry

The
Oerlikon Manmade Fibers Division and its competence brands Oerlikon Barmag,
Oerlikon Neumag and Oerlikon Nonwoven, is probably the world’s most successful
machine and plant manufacturer for manmade fibers production processes. The
division has been operating in India for decades. The company, which has
German-Swiss heritage, took its first steps on the sub-continent as early as
1984. Today, it has over hundred employees in Mumbai and Vadodara with very
active and competent sales and service center teams on site. In this interview
with The Indian Textile Journal,
André
Wissenberg, Vice President and Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications and
Public Affairs of Oerlikon Manmade Fibers Division
, highlights on the company’s future plans for
India.
