These projects are set to be implemented across 11 districts—Angul, Balasore, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh—and include initiatives in the textile sector and logistics.

India’s eastern state of Odisha recently approved 19 investment projects valued at Rs 38.985 billion during the 136th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), according to an announcement made by the Chief Minister’s office.

Among the approved proposals, Shree Sidhi Vinayak Texcolours is slated to establish a yarn dyeing and knitted fabric processing unit in Khordha district with an investment of $11.85 million. In the same district, Vasanth Vihar Constructions (India) plans to develop a logistics park with a proposed investment of $15.91 million.

The meeting, chaired by Odisha’s chief secretary Manoj Ahuja, concluded with expectations that the approved projects will create over 7,400 employment opportunities across the state.
