For the first time, Seoul will host an International Industrial Show, JEC Asia International Composites Event, in November 1-3, 2017.  Announcing the change of location, Frédérique MUTEL, President and CEO of JEC Group, said: “Since 2008 we have been organising our annual Composites meeting in Singapore, a big hub for business in Asia Pacific. One of JEC Group main strength is to adapt rapidly to the Industry needs as we constantly listen and watch for the developments, innovation and requests of the market. When the Korean Composites Industry asked us to consider organising JEC Asia in the Republic of Korea few years ago, we have been working hand in hand with them to build a tailor-made event that is ready to be launch in South Korea next year, in November 1-3, 2017, symbolically for JEC Asia 10th session.”
She added: “As an observer and representative of the Industry, we could not help but to notice that the development of composites materials could only be possible thanks to the close relationship of the Golden triangle made of Government, Industry and Research together with Material Sciences and Engineering. These models of virtuous circles have proven to be positive and fruitful in many countries and South Korea is a very good example. After having signed a few years ago a MoU with the KCTECH, we are happy to sign another one today with the Jeonbuk TechnoPark in presence of the H.E. Lee SANG-DEOK, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Singapore, Roh INHO, CEO of KOTRA in Singapore, Pr. Sung HA, Professor at Hanyang University and  DU-OCK BECK, President of Jeonbuk TechnoPark.”
