Reducing CO2 emissions and using renewable energy is of critical importance for our future. This path towards sustainability, is a responsible choice towards people and the environment.

This is why Mesdan has decided to make an important investment with the installation of a 1800 mq photovoltaic power plant at its Puegnago production site. The stacking in operation is able to guarantee the energy needs of the plant, with an estimated annual electricity production of 467 MWh. This will avoid the emission of 119 tonne of CO2 into the atmosphere, the equivalent to 5492 planted trees.

An important step toward a future of renewable energy and long-term sustainability.

MESDAN has reached a leading position in the field of yarn joining technology in over sixty years of research & development. Nowadays the 100 per cent knotless plied yarn concept leads inevitably to Mesdan splicers, which are regarded as a point of reference worldwide for their vanguard technology, workmanship quality, performance reliability and consistency.
