The Paul Schlack/Wilhelm Albrecht Prize 2017 was awarded to two employees of ITA, RWTH Aachen — Dr Gisa Wortberg and Dr Andreas De Palmenaer, ITA, RWTH Aachen. More than a hundred top-class international expert lectures from academic research and industry turned this year’s Dornbirn MFC into something unique.

Seiko Epson will invest 16 billion yen in a new building in the campus, in Hirooka office in Japan. The new building, which will house a factory for prototyping and volume-producing large commercial and industrial printing systems and a test laboratory for digital textile printing, is part of Epson’s mid-term plans to grow its printing solutions business.
