The Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI)—in association with Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) as a Knowledge Partner—organised an innovation contest ‘InnoTex 2018’.

ColorJet India Ltd will be launching and showcasing live demonstrations of its best selling direct to fabric printer, VASTRAJET at DTG-Dhaka which runs from January 9-12, 2019, at ICCB in Bangladesh in hall no. 6, booth no. 313.

India held a special place in global textile trade as the second largest textile exporter in the world. Today, cotton yarn and fabric exports account for over 23 per cent of India’s total textiles and apparel exports.

Scheduled from December 5-8, 2019 in Gandhinagar at the outskirts of the Ahmedabad, ITMACH India exhibition is going to be the marketplace to interact with potential new & existing investors from India and neighbouring countries.

The Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Uzbekistan textile industry to carry out trade promotional activities in both the countries.

The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (Texprocil) has urged the Government to disburse the committed support of about Rs 3,000 crore under Textile Upgradation Fund (TUF) scheme to help the industry tide over tough times.
