Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF) is creating an ecosystem to make textile industry competitive so as to face the global competition by way of “better manufacturing efficiency and best practices” by bringing together all the textile entrepreneurs .

In current scenario, spinning mills are facing worker shortage and high level of attrition. This results in new recruitment and training as a continuous process in all units. ITF is planning to make “training video films” for various departments on work methods and best practices. In this process, ITF has released its “first training video on Autoconer dept.” This includes: ?Right work methods ?Safety measures during work ?Methods to increase productivity ?Methods to maintain machine and working area ?Techniques for Reduction of wastage ?Proper method of handing over work to next shift, etc

These videos cover the entire work best practices and techniques like those mentioned above. In all the spinning mills, we have exclusive training depts and exclusive trainers. ITF collected all the best practices prevailing in its member mills and prepared the video training film with the help of professionals .

Mill will first train all the new workers who are joining their job with these training videos for better understanding and know-how on proper methodology of work before inducting them in to practical training on the shopfloor .

Like the video on autoconer training, ITF is planning to release 10 more videos related to other depts in the spinning industry. Similar training video content are available in regional languages including Tamil, English and Hindi. These are uploaded in YouTube. Mills from across India can download the same free of cost and use this training video for their workers training. It will help all the mills to make training more interesting and also have a professional approach towards the same, says Prabhu Dhamodharan, Convenor, Indian Texpreneurs Federation, Coimbatore
