Can you share insights into your latest AI-powered innovation?

We are proud to introduce GSM AI, The World’s First AI-Powered GSM testing Solution unveiled at Bharat Tex. The unveiling was honoured by the presence of Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Textiles, who appreciated this cutting-edge technology now available in India. GSM AI stands for Grams per Square Meter through Artificial Intelligence. It enables highly precise GSM measurement for knitted, woven, and nonwoven fabrics, eliminating the need for traditional tools like cutters, pads, balances, and blades. Users have to simply place a fabric sample regardless of its shape or size into the machine, and the GSM is measured instantly with unmatched accuracy.

We firmly believe this innovation represents the future of GSM measurement technology, setting new global standards in textile testing.

What industry challenges led to the development of GSM AI?

A recurring challenge in textile testing was the inability to measure GSM from small fabric samples. Many buyers and exporters receive tiny swatches, making it difficult to perform accurate GSM analysis using conventional methods that require larger cuttings. GSM AI resolves this issue completely. Regardless of how small the sample is, our advanced AI-driven system delivers precise GSM measurements instantly. This breakthrough was developed in response to requests from numerous industry stakeholders seeking a highly accurate and simple GSM measurement solution.

Our dedicated RCD team, in collaboration with leading research institutes, works relentlessly to integrate IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and AI-powered solutions into textile testing. The launch of GSM AI marks a major milestone in our mission to equip the textile industry with next-generation quality control solutions.

What are Paramount’s future plans and upcoming innovations?

GSM AI is just the beginning. We have two additional breakthrough technologies in development, both of which will be launched in 2025. While we cannot disclose details just yet, these innovations like GSM AI are designed for widespread industry adoption, benefiting textile mills, garment exporters, and testing labs across India and beyond. By the end of this year, Paramount will have introduced three industry-defining technologies, reinforcing our position as a global leader in textile testing innovation.

How cost-effective is GSM AI, and is it accessible to MSMEs?

GSM AI is a one-time investment that delivers lifetime value. Unlike conventional methods that require continual purchases of cutters, pads, balances, and blades, this machine eliminates recurring costs. By investing in GSM AI, textile manufacturers and exporters can enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost savings, making it a highly viable and scalable solution for businesses of all sizes, including MSMEs.

Final Thoughts

With GSM AI, Paramount Group is leading the transformation of textile testing, making quality control more accurate, efficient, and accessible than ever before. This innovation is a testament to Paramount’s commitment to pioneering cutting-edge solutions that shape the future of the textile industry.
