LNJ Bhilwara Group accelerates sustainability drive with REPLUS and TACC
With REPLUS and TACC spearheading sustainable innovations, the LNJ Bhilwara Group is setting a new standard for environmental responsibility and industrial excellence.
LNJ Bhilwara Group, a leader in diverse industries like textiles, power generation, and advanced materials, is taking significant strides toward sustainability with its offerings via REPLUS and The Advanced Carbons Company (TACC). The forward-thinking organizations underscore the Group’s commitment to creating a greener and more sustainable future.
REPLUS, a subsidiary of Bhilwara Energy and a cornerstone of LNJ Bhilwara’s sustainability framework, pioneers’ renewable energy solutions through advanced battery energy storage technologies, and intelligent energy management platforms. It is driving the transition to e-mobility and energy storage with sustainable solutions based on advanced lithium chemistries, supported by state-of-the-art manufacturing and engineering expertise.
REPLUS has achieved a significant milestone by designing, developing, and manufacturing India’s first AIS-038 Certified Liquid-Cooled Battery Pack (32KWh) specifically for Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) applications. Because of the product’s modularity, the same battery pack can cater to multiple vehicle segments like LCV, 13.5m Coach & 55 Ton Truck Applications. This advanced battery pack, currently being mass-produced at REPLUS’ state-of-the-art 1GWh facility in Pune, has already proven its performance and reliability, successfully completing over 50,000 kilometre of on-road testing.
Hiren Pravin Shah, Founder, Managing Director and CEO of REPLUS, says, “This battery pack is best in class in terms of energy density (Wh/Kg), compact design & overall life cycle performance. At REPLUS, we aim to lead the New Energy Battery revolution by delivering scalable, efficient, and reliable solutions. We support green infrastructure and significantly reduces carbon footprints.”
The Advanced Carbons Company (TACC), a wholly owned subsidiary of HEG, stands as a pioneering venture by the esteemed LNJ Bhilwara Group, focuses on the production of Advanced Carbon-based materials including an upcoming plant of 20,000 MTPA of Synthetic Graphite Anode catering to lithium-ion cell manufacturers and 4000+ MT of Graphene and its derivatives for various industrial applications. Its customized carbon and graphite materials power lithium-ion batteries for EVs and Stationary Storage Systems. TACC synthesized Graphene derivatives enhance properties of concrete, textiles, paints, and rubber driving performance and sustainability across industries. Driven by innovation, TACC is also developing advanced solutions including Silicon Anode, Hard Carbon for Na-ion batteries and processed Graphite Powder for Bipolar Plates. With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, TACC is shaping India’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
Ankur Khaitan, Managing Director and CEO of TACC, shares “TACC is leading the way in innovation, creating advanced graphite and silicon anodes for the rapidly expanding EV and battery energy storage markets, along with graphene solutions for industries such as concrete, textiles, paints, and more. By advancing material science, we are driving sustainable progress across various sectors, delivering cleaner, more efficient solutions while reducing environmental impact.”
With REPLUS and TACC spearheading sustainable innovations, the LNJ Bhilwara Group is setting a new standard for environmental responsibility and industrial excellence.
