Lifetime achievement award for Om Prakash

At the recently concluded MICE AFFAIRS International Conference & Awards Night on July 19, 2019 in New Delhi, Om Prakash, Director, InORBIT Tours, & ex-Chairman TraveI Agents Association of India (WR) was awarded the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award” for his significant contribution to trade and exhibition industry for over 40 years. He is the pioneer in India to start visits to international exhibitions all over the world since 1979.
Commenting at the occasion, Vijay Kumar, Director MSME DI, Government of India; GS Kular, President of Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organisations (FICO); and Sachin Manocha of MICE Affairs, lauded about the contribution of Om Prakash of 40 years to boost MICE participation especially by the MSMEs of India.
Om Prakash, was awarded Indo German Awards three times for his contribution in the development of Indo German Economic Relations. He was also the recipient of Awards from China, Thailand, India and USA. During his journey of over four decades, he was interviewed on German television. BBC London, Voice of America and Doordarshan in India. He received many Awards in India by Tourism Ministries and Indian media. He was also the Chairman of Travel Agents Association of India (WR).
