Trident bags Texprocil Gold Trophy for textile exports

The Trident Group has won the Gold Trophy
for the highest global exports. The award was given at the Texprocil Virtual
Awards 2019-20, which is the world’s most coveted ceremony of the textile
industry. Trident Limited, headquartered in Ludhiana, Punjab, is the flagship
Company of Trident Group. It is a global player as well as an Indian business
conglomerate worth $ 1 billion. The company is a manufacturer of yarn, bed
linen, paper, and Bath. It is also one of the largest players in the home
textiles space in India.

Trident Limited has played a major role in
strengthening the Indian textiles industry because of which it was awarded. The
group has a customer base across 100 countries for more than 20 years now. The
brand follows a philosophy of ‘Making in India and Selling to the World’. The
company also follows sustainable and environment-friendly processes for
achieving great milestones. It has a global footprint and state-of-the art
manufacturing setup also.

Padma Shri awarded Rajinder Gupta, Chairman
of the Group, showed gratitude to the government for creating an ecosystem that
is favourable for the textile industry. He also said that the company is ready
for the future and has introduced the required radical transformation to match
the new normal. He was happy for winning the gold trophy once again.
