As many as 25 new products for the textile sector will be launched at the 10th India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME), which will be held in Mumbai in December this year. The products include eight for the spinning sector, seven for processing and nine for weaving, said Sanjiv Lathia, Chairman of India ITME 2016.

Apart from new products, 162 new companies, including 32 from abroad, will participate and showcase their products. A new and exclusive hall for digital printing, testing and measuring equipment, dyestuff and chemicals will be showcased by overseas companies, including those from Taiwan, Turkey, Italy, China and Australia. Another major attraction will be green technology and waste water technology from Italy, China and India, which will provide much required solutions for domestic textile units, he said. The event makes it the only privately organised exhibition supported by Central and State governments.
