Katja Mattl will assume the position as Director of Communication at the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) on 1 May 2014. Mattl is joining the VDMA from Continental AG where she had directed international communication for the Powertrain Division since 2007.
Mattl graduated in German philology and communication sciences and as from 2000 she was responsible for internal communication at the Daimler subsidiary Temic. She accompanied the incorporation of this enterprise into the Continental Group where she held various positions as from 2002 in internal and external communication at Continental AG. She has extensive knowledge in communication for industrial enterprises.
