The Karl Mayer Group takes over the direct support of its customers in Indonesia.

The ILLIES Group has been a reliable and competent sales partner of the Karl Mayer Group in Asia for many years.

The two companies recently decided to change their approach to providing support for their customers in Indonesia. Illies withdrew from Karl Mayer’s Indonesian business on May 1, 2023. The Karl Mayer Group expanded its regional approach and integrated all sales and service activities in the South-East Asian country into its own performance profile.

The global player took over all the competences and capacities of its representative to continue to provide reliable professional support to its customers, now at first hand. The two partners had worked out a joint support concept to ensure a trouble-free and seamless transition.

“The Karl Mayer Group is looking forward to being even closer to its important sales region of Indonesia,” says Kevin Socha, Managing Director, Karl Mayer (HK). The country is one of the top 10 textile-producing nations and is ranked 12th in the list of the largest textile and clothing exporters, according to an industry report by the Indonesian Textile Industry.
