To add wow
factor to home wear, KARL MAYER created a crinkle-effect look made on an HKS
4-M EL. The look is beautiful and comfortable and is inspired by the trend
towards “stay-at-home” feel-good clothing.

During the
corona pandemic, when everybody was at home they wanted to wear soft and
comfortable outfits made from soft fabrics. The textures should be such that
they feel cozy and light. Keeping this in mind, the developers have created a
collection of lightweight warp knitted textiles. These designs are chic and
come with a multiform crinkle-effect look and bright colours. The customers can
also carry these designs on the streets and at parties once the pandemic is
over.

The new designs
include dense fabrics with small repeat waffle or wave patterns, seersucker
makes or origami-like designs, and transparent fabrics with curved
architectural lines. KARL MAYER has also designed an extremely
feminine piece using Light warp knitted textile combined with a plastic wave
design, trumpet sleeves and a sexy slit neckline. HKS 4-M EL in E 28 was used
to produce the on-trend textile. The high-performance tricot machine was used
to implement the 3D effects.

The group will launch its designs at the
ITMA ASIA + CITME, from June 12-16, at A 35/Hall 4 at the NECC Shanghai.
