After the INTIMASIA’s first two editions in Kochi and Chennai which were a runaway success, the third edition INTIMASIA 3.0 will be held in New Delhi, on 21st and 22nd January 2019, at Pragati Maidan. Intimate wear is currently the fastest growing sector of the garment trade, and with Delhi at the heart and crux of the industry, it makes it the perfect intersection for both manufacturers and the trade to converge the wide exposure.
There’s no denying Delhi’s pre-eminent position as both the country’s national and fashion capital. The denizens of this city are uber fashion conscious and in many aspects set the trends that the rest of the country follows. This makes it the perfect choice to host INTIMASIA’s 3.0, and what a way to kick start a new calendar year of business, right? A lot of thought, research, groundwork and conceptualization (obviously backed by facts) has gone into the planning of INTIMASIA 3.0.
INTIMASIA was conceived as a path-breaking concept to bring in the best and brightest minds amongst both retailers and brands under one banner with a dynamic and clear vision: the elevation of the innerwear business to new heights, by seamlessly promoting fashion and ideation, while seeking to encourage and foster innovation and discussion. As the unprecedented success of the first two editions of the event will testify, INTIMASIA isn’t just a platform to exhibit your wares, it is, in fact, an eclectic mix of exhibition, launches, networking, opportunities and a glandular platform for both retailers and brands to kindle in repartee as they connect, discover and flourish.
The third instalment of INTIMASIA is focused on Delhi, and that boils down to more than just one or two reasons. For starters as the nation’s capital, Delhi is surrounded by 6 major States and connected to 86 prime cities less than by overnight journey. The city’s astounding growth rate of 11.22 per cent GSDP puts it as one of India’s fastest growing cities. This growth is anchored by its seven pillars of sturdy policy, government focus, favourable geographical location and the fashion-forward citizens, infrastructure, economic climate and business investment perception.
INTIMASIA began as a dream, one to galvanize the intimate wear industry and bring together luminaries from all its walks of business. With the first two editions in Kochi and Chennai, new grounds were broken and a successful platform for its continuance and success laid. INTIMASIA 2019 Delhi will feature some of the industry’s most creative, path-breaking and sought after brands, delegates and visitors from the industry, design teams and symposiums and of course fashion shows that will take your breath away.
