Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles, collaborating with the NellyRodi Agency, will unveil the design theme for 2021 – Bound – together with three trends – Cozy Warmth, Past Future and Bold Clash. Each trend reflects the current environmental, economic, societal and identity changes, offering professionals the insight and inspiration about interior textiles. Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition is to be held during August 24-26.

“2020 has been a year of unprecedented changes, and a challenging time for all businesses in our industry. From our side, Messe Frankfurt and our co-organisers are doing all we can to ensure a safe environment for participants, as well as provide the ideal platform for business to resume and discover the new opportunities that this crisis has presented us,” Wendy Wen, senior general manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) said.

“As a meeting place for the global industry, the fair will be a chance to capture the opportunities in the rest of the business year, but also into 2021 as well with the help of the trend forum. Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles, to held from August 24 – 26, will be one of the first large-scale, international events for the home and contract textiles sector to be held since Heimtextil in January, so we hope that the global industry take this opportunity to reconnect, recalibrate and make the most of what remains of the business year, and look to the coming year as well,” Wen explained.

As a source of information and inspiration for professionals in the industry, Intertextile recognises and presents the latest home textile trends and innovations. The general design theme Bound addresses the importance of recreating connections in a world full of radical transformation, resonating with the current global situation.
