Indian Chamber of Commerce has rolled out their brand new virtual platform to exhibit the elegance of Indian Textile, Handloom, apparel, khadi, jute etc. by MSMEs. The three-day event, held from 14th to 16th December, 2020 provided a promising window for Indian MSMEs to meet the global buyers and explore possibilities for new business.

This virtual Buyer Seller Meet for Indian products under Atma Nirbhar Bharat Campaign was backed by the Indian Missions in Middle East, Europe, and the US to name a few. An innovative B2B session on a list of products needed for the preparedness against Covid-19 was planned keeping the current scenario in mind.

“The trenchant attack of Covid-19 has put the business in an exhausting condition all over the world. This visionary Web Store from ICC will help the Indian sellers to get rid of that economic fatigue and will also encourage international buyers as well as Indian sellers to take part, interact and expand their networks worldwide”, stated Rajeev Singh, director general, ICC.

The event was succeeded by Indian Chamber of Commerce “Textile E-Sourcing Fair” held in October, 2020, where ICC received an overwhelming visitor frequency. A steadfast website www.iccvirtualexpo.com has been designed to stimulate the virtual platform. The exhibitors had their own web store page to display their products, to talk about their company profile, to run their videos, to upload their product images.

The Indian Chamber of Commerce is a 95 years old association efficient worldwide in conducting business roundtables, thought leaderships, policy advocacies, seminars, workshops and conferences to facilitate the industries. In the time of need ICC has yet again come up with this modern platform looking at enhancing engagement with MSMEs in India.
