H&M collaborates with Indian designer Sabyasachi

Fashion label H&M is taking pride in collaborating
with Sabyasachi, an iconic Indian label that is known for bringing Indian style
and contemporary design together.

The Sabyasachi x H&M collection
comprises of both womenswear and menswear. This new collection will be
available at selected stores of H&M around the world and also online on the
website of the company. H& M has declared the date of the new launch, and
the same has been finalized to be August 12, 2021.

According to Sabyasachi, he is happy to
announce this new launch date for the collaboration with H&M. This
collaboration gives the designer the opportunity to spread his aesthetic to a
wider audience both in India and overseas. Because of the Covid-19 situation in
the world, the launch was put on hold but now everybody is excited to bring
this ready-to-wear collection in front of the masses, he added.

This Sabyasachi x H&M collection is
designed in such a manner that it creates a modern statement for glamorous
loungewear for fashion lovers who want both chic and eclectic designs. Women
can enjoy the long flowy dresses and kaftans and team them up with lots of
accessories. While on the other hand, the men’s collection is all about the
high waist wide chinos, the Henley shirt, and the photographer jacket.
The?Sabyasachi?Art Foundation has bought Indian textile and print traditions to
life and this forms the key highlight of the collection.

According to Maria Gemzell, Head of New
Development, H&M, the brand is excited for this launch of the new
collection with the iconic Indian designer, Sabyasachi. People value the homegrown craft and
textiles more now and Sabyasachi is the best in this, she added.
