Delhi/ Noida

GUESS, the global fashion brand, is
relaunching its retail presence at the DLF Mall of India in Delhi-NCR. The
brand has a legacy of around four decades in setting trends for apparel and
accessories.

The DLF Mall of
India is one of the most frequented shopping destinations in the country and
offers more than 100 global brands. It attracts shoppers from neighbouring
cities as well.

According to
Carlos Alberini, CEO, GUESS, even though the brand has a global
presence, it wants to expand its wings in the newer markets. The company has
launched the ‘Athleisure’ collection which had zero penetration in the
Pre-Covid era, but in today’s time, this category form 7% of the company
apparel sales. During quarantine, people are choosing comfort-driven apparel
and there has been a considerable shift towards fitness due to which the
company has come up with this new collection.

The new
‘Athleisure’ collection is the highlight of the brand which is going to fall
under the category of fashion and fitness. Another key category is the range of
handbags that the brand offers.

According to
Manoj Nair, Gaurik Group, the company is excited to welcome shoppers at the new
store which will be opening soon at the DLF Mall of India. The company is on
its way to launch its stores in all the metro cities in the country through the
rest of the year. He also said that as the taste, habits, and needs of the
people are going to evolve, the company is going to innovate and find new ways
to engage with the customers.
