Albstadt,
Germany

Groz-Beckert will
participate in the seventh edition of ITMA Asia + CITME to be held from June 12
to June 16 in Shanghai, China. The company will be present, both physically and
virtually, at Booth C31, Hall 4 of the National Exhibition and Convention
Centre.

The ITMA Asia +
CITME is expected to host around 1,650 exhibitors from 24 countries. In
addition to being physically present at the face-to-face event, Groz-Beckert
will also have a virtual booth for people who would not be able to travel or
attend the event. The virtual booth will match the physical booth and have a
three-dimensional design. Visitors can move through the virtual space alone or
together with a Groz-Beckert employee and view all exhibits in 3D.

Free registration
is required to attend the digital trade fair. Registrations will open
approximately two weeks before the start of the event. Further information
about the event can be found on the Groz-Beckert website or in the company
newsletter.

Groz-Beckert will
present new products from its six product areas—Knitting, Weaving, Felting,
Tufting, Carding and Sewing.

The Knitting
product area will showcase the SANTM SF staple fibre needle, the SNK
SF staple fibre sinker, the durTM needle and the SANTM
TT. The fibre sinker is designed especially for use on large diameter circular
knitting machines. The durTM needle is mainly for high loads onsock
machines thanks to its optimised geometries. The SANTM TT is for
application-specific use in the field of technical textiles for flat knitting
machines and a needle that enables new dimensions of fineness to be achieved in
the flat knitting area. The company will also showcase its warp knitting
machine needles and system parts that are precisely matched to each other to
achieve an even, error-free process, via augmented reality.

The Weaving
product area will have a 3D model and augmented reality of the new WarpMasterPlus,
an optimal solution for every weaving mill. It will illustrate the interaction
of all products in the area: from cleaning machines and weaving accessories to
the KnotMaster.

The Felting
product area will showcase the patented GEBECON® felting needle through
augmented reality. It offers an improved surface quality and optimised bending
resistance, along with know-how protection and improved needle logistics.

The Tufting
product area will feature the Groz-Beckert Tufting Gauge Part Systems which
helps produce tufted floor coverings.

The Carding
product area will be presenting its developments in the spinning industry.
These include the new stationary flat series distinguished by innovative tooth
geometry and a new kind of tooth distribution, the new TV56 revolving top
featuring a new setting pattern and 560 points per square inch, making it
particularly easy to clean and the improved cylinder card clothing with its
special and patented tooth shape, which has a positive effect on maintenance.
This makes it particularly well suited for quality-oriented cotton spinning
companies that produce high-quality yarns.

The Sewing
product area will focus on technical textiles, especially in the manufacture of
car seats. The SAN® 5.2 special application needle from Groz-Beckert solves the
high demands of sewing car seats. The special design gives it sufficient
stability. The double groove in the point area improves thread guidance and
leads to an even seam pattern, especially in multi-directional sewing
processes. The scarf chamfers on both sides of the needle prevent skipped
stitches and optimise loop formation. The GEBEDUR® titanium nitride coating
increases wear protection. The Sewing customer portal is another digital
service on offer.

Groz-Beckert is
the world’s leading provider of industrial machine needles, precision parts and
fine tools as well as systems and services for the production and joining of
textile fabrics. Founded in 1852, the company has 9000 employees and generates
a turnover of around $750 million. As of 2020, it operates with agencies,
production and distribution subsidiaries in
more
than 150 countries around the world
