Group Fourwents develops affordable, yet premium, high-tech machinery, equipment and spare parts. The work has been put to the test in the global market.

Group Fourwents is a six-decade old group, founded in the year 1958 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat by SN Modak. Initially, Fourwents was into manufacturing and supplying of key spare parts and related equipment suitable for imported textile and packaging process machinery. Today, it has evolved into a first tier supplier to leading textile and processing mills and BOPP and polyester

Today Fourwents proudly boasts of having a massive production line of all key mechanical products for variety of process industries including stenter clips, transport chains and all other key spares suitable for
all imported stenter machines as used in the Indian textile industries.

Kamal Modak, Chairman and Managing Director
of Fourwents, said, “Our customers expect
a reliable and innovative partner when investing in new machinery or services. We understand their needs and the challenges they are facing throughout the value chain of the textile processing industry. Providing the latest technologies as well as individual, efficient and dedicated solutions and services for fabric stretching is our aim. By supplying the very best “Made in India” product, we add value to our customers’ production-value they can actually measure on the bottom line.”

With the increasing challenges in market, Fourwents charges ahead with analytical methods, modern engineering, new materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Currently a major section of the Indian textile manufacturers import all the above modern machines from European countries at a high cost. Fourwents strives to change the scenario by representing India globally as an independent nation capable of fulfilling its own needs. The company has also invested in a prime industrial land at Changodar industrial area, near Ahmedabad. Equipped with modern technology, massive workforce and a headstrong vision, Fourwents adheres to the European quality and breaking the global market with its competitive prices.

Sagar Modak, CEO of Fourwents, had this to say: “Thus, we set the stage for future growth, and
also established long-term relationship with them. In this spirit, our slogan “stretching the limits” stands not only for our products and services, but also for our way
of thinking and manufacturing. And for over half a century, we have proven that our daily work is based on sustainability, continuity, reliability and respect.”

Fourwents is poised to face the future challenges of continually fulfilling the rapidly increasing expectations of customers. Reliability and the highest quality remain Fourwents’ constant aims, both in the business and professional sense.

Group Fourwents now also enters
into the manufacturing of:

  • ‘Stretch Line’ textile stenter machines for woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, technical textiles and coatings.
  • ‘Singe-NX’ textile fabric (double jet burner) gas singeing machines
  • ‘Fouwents’ Chain mercerising range.
