Four nonwoven industry professionals receives INDA Lifetime Awards
Seshadri Ramkumar, Jan O’Regan, Jim Robinson, and Ed Thomas were recognised for their key contributions to the growth of the nonwovens industry and INDA.
INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, announced four recipients for the Lifetime Service Award and Lifetime Technical Achievement Awards. Seshadri Ramkumar, Jan O’Regan, Jim Robinson, and Ed Thomas were recognised for their key contributions to the growth of the nonwovens industry and INDA.
“We are pleased to recognise Jan, Ram, Jim, and Ed with these well-deserved awards. INDA is grateful for their contributions in growing the nonwovens industry and being advocates for INDA,” said Tony Fragnito, INDA President. “These Awards are meant to honour individuals with long-established records of service and technical achievement. All four have given their best both personally and professionally to INDA and the nonwovens industry,” Fragnito added.
Prior award winners include key achievers from leading industry such as Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, Proctor and Gamble, etc. who have been involved with the development of new polymeric materials, feminine care materials and many consumer products, which have improved our quality of life.
Seshadri Ramkumar established the nonwovens research program at Texas Tech University in 1999, which has led to the commercialisation of FiberTect decontamination wipe.
