Mumbai

On July 19,
Fineotex Chemical and HealthGuard Australia have entered into a joint venture.
This will allow Fineotex to become the exclusive global sales and marketing
channel partner with operations from Malaysia.

The Joint venture will allow Fineotex to update its portfolio and
add metal-free safety for its customers around the world with the needful
global certifications. On the other hand, HealthGuard is going to focus on
developing cutting-edge solutions that will be channelized and marketed across
the world by its exclusive channel partner, Fineotex-Biotex. The synergy
between the two companies will offer solutions that will bring the most durable
metal-free sustainable chemistry, anti-viral, and antimicrobial sustainable
chemistry in the market.

As the two companies will offer solutions related to textiles, this
will help India to fight against the pandemic and stay at far with other
developed countries. HealthGuard AMIC is 99.94% effective against killing
influenza virus, coronavirus, and SARS. It remains active on the treated fabric
for a long time.

According to Aarti Jhunjhunwala, Executive Director, Fineotex Chemical, due to Covid-19 a lot of
importance is put on the treated and safe fabrics. She also added that this
synergy shows the advancement that textile manufacturers will have to adopt so
that the consumers are confident of their safety. As per Arindam Choudhuri,
CEO, Fineotex Chemical, this synergy will add a crucial certified product line.
