EuroFibers, the leading Dutch supplier of high performance fibres, is introducing its new sister company EuroFabrics. EuroFabrics is an innovative supplier of High Performance Fabrics like BodyShield® and a key distributor of the American SuperFabric® in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Many of the fabrics are based on high performance fibres like Dyneema®, Twaron®, Technora® and Vectran®. EuroFabrics offers a one-stop shop for performance fabrics with special features like cut, slash, abrasion or fire resistance.

As being part of the sister company EuroFibers, the EuroFabrics team has a strong technical background in High Performance Fibers and Fabrics. General Manager Marcel Alberts is very proud of the cooperation with SuperFabric® and explains the added value of EuroFabric as follows: “Our extensive network with fibre producers, knitters, weavers and finishers worldwide enables us to offer the best available high performance fabric solutions, tailored to the needs of our customers. We pride ourselves in our textile innovation capabilities and we set ourselves apart by offering small quantities for prototyping purposes, but also large commercial volumes for large-scale production, tailored to the needs of our customers.”

Mike Wrenn, COO of SuperFabric® stated, “We look forward to working with EuroFabrics in introducing our line of high performance fabrics to customers. Our high abrasion resistant and cut resistant fabrics can be used in a wide variety of markets to enhance customer’s product lines.”

SuperFabric® is a cut and abrasion resistant material, and a registered trademark of Higher Dimension Materials, Inc. As a technical fabric, SuperFabric® is created with a base fabric such as nylon, polyester, neoprene, Dyneema® and is overlaid with tiny, hard guard plates in a specific pattern. This guard plate technology protects the base fabric and contributes to the durability of the material. The geometry, thickness, and size of the guard plates, as well as the base fabric, vary depending on industry requirements. SuperFabric® is being used in skijackets, pants, motorcycle apparel, seating, industrial covers, footwear, the FERRARI (599 GTB), upholstery and much more.

BodyShield® is a proprietary range of fabrics made with Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fibre. BodyShield® offers reliable cut and slash protection with high wearing comfort. These fabrics are durable and washable for long-lasting protection and uncompromised comfort. BodyShield® fabrics have been extensively tested according to the meet the new European EN388 standards and are engineered with comfort and elegance.
