ELGi’s AB Series oil-free screw compressors gain industry recognition

Class ‘0’ certified compressors deliver contaminant-free air for industries.

ELGi has introduced its AB Series oil-free screw air compressors, designed to provide 100 per cent oil-free compressed air with high reliability and efficiency. Certified Class ‘0’ under ISO8573-2010 standards, the compressors ensure zero risk of oil contamination, making them suitable for industries such as textiles, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and air separation.

The series features pre-coated stainless-steel rotors that comply with ISO8573-7:2003 standards, eliminating microbiological contaminants. The design uses pure water in a closed-loop system as a lubricant, reducing the need for separate RO systems and cutting power and maintenance costs. Its compact, air-cooled package with energy-efficient fan motors and a large cooling surface ensures optimal performance and extended motor life.
