Dr Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman, Allcargo Logistics, was bestowed with the Indian Maritime Businessman of the Year 2016 award at the Gateway awards held on August 12, 2016 at The Leela, Mumbai. Allcargo Logistics was also the proud recipient of the Container Freight Station (CFS) of the Year award for the second consecutive year at the award ceremony.

The Containers India 2016 event organised by Maritime Gateway is a platform to learn, network and debate with India’s leading shipping, ports and logistics executives along with business, political and academic leaders. The theme of the event was to bring diverse perspectives from corporates with a shared commitment to improve trade and business and to debate and deliberate on the most pressing issues of the time.
