This year Shanghai appeared as a platform for the international textile industry and the nonwovens industry. First the combined ITMA Asia and CITME show took place in June and then shortly afterwards in September the CINTE Techtextil China fair. While ITMA Asia CITME focused on textile machinery, while CINTE specialised on technical textiles and nonwoven products.

The correct choice of line components becomes more important with the increase in applications for nonwoven fabrics.
