Indian textile printing solutions giant, DCC Group launched its first international flagship ‘Xperience Zone’ showroom and training facility in Dhaka, Bangladesh towards the end of 2016.

“The anticipation to our launch here has been intense, and we are thrilled to have launched in the world’s second largest textile industry. We are confident that our integrated printing solutions, technologies, hands-on training and services will help Bangladesh companies add the missing piece of value to their product line which is key to achieve the $50 billion export target by 2021”, explained Dhaval Dadia, Managing Director of DCC Group of companies. DCC already has two such unique facilities in India – one in Mumbai (Maharashtra) and the other in Tirupur (Tamil Nadu). DCC’s unique Xperience Zone facility not only lets a customer get a feel of the products and technology but also showcases the finished product samples in life-like studio setup. This helps the customer understand various applications and the optimal use of machines, inks, etc. Customers can also bring in their textile fabric and get their design and samples created before making any purchase decisions. Since the facility has all the machines and products on display, it also makes for the ideal location to conduct technical seminars and hands-on training required to develop a proficient and skilled production team to ensure a profitable printing business.

Speaking on the occasion, Narendra Dadia, Chairman of DCC Group, said “We are glad to bring in our 40 years of rich experience in textile printing segment. Over the years we have realised that just selling the best in class product doesn’t suffice. Customers need training and extended technical support to fully utilise the power of technology and so we have invested in Kaizen Training Academy. What sets us different from our competitor is that we not only sell products, but we also provide a total integrated package and solutions. This indicates that instead of passing the buck, we take full responsibility, whether its quality, achieving efficiency or new techniques, and deal with all customer’s problem which makes us as an one point contact for all solutions.”

During the event, eminent personalities from the industry made a point to visit the launch. A panel discussion was organised which comprised of Aslam Sunny, First Vice President – BKMEA (Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association), Dr Syed Farhat Anwar, Professor at IBA, Dhaka University and Chief Advisor – Bangladesh brand forum, Javier Karlos Santonja Olcina, MD of ITX Trading (owns Zara and many other brands), David Permenter, International printing expert and Educational Director, DCC Group. Atiqul Islam, Ex-President – BGMEA (Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association) and President of CEBAI.
