DBL Group is a diversified and integrated knit garments manufacturing & composite industry with a strong backward linkage. It is one of the largest and 100 per cent export oriented composite knit garments and textiles manufacturing companies in Bangladesh.

Some of the fabrics that DBL Group produces are single jersey, pique, fleece, terry, rib, interlock and variegated fabrics. The fibres used are cotton, viscose, polyester, rayon and elastane. The dyeing and finishing capacity is more than 50 t per day; the projection will rise to 100 t per day by 2016. Over the years, the quality products and reputation have created a strong business relation with the world’s famous clothing brands like H&M, Walmart, George, Esprit, Puma and many more. DBL Group is in the process of becoming the country´s largest vertically integrated producer by 2016. The cooperation between DBL Group and Santex goes back to 2001 when Santex delivered the first Santashrink and Santastretch Compactor for tubular form. Since then Santex has become a strategic partner for finishing of knitted fabrics. In 2013, Santex delivered two Santashrink Progress, 6 chambers, with Double Pad and Pin Frame for knitted fabrics in open width form. Start-up is in November 2014. The project was guided via Santex agent in Bangladesh aamra resources ltd. This is the first phase of an extended expansion of DBL Group at the modern investment plan in the Color City project.
