Novibra, which in conjunction with the sister companies, Bräcker, Suessen and Graf, is securely embedded in the network of total solution and application expertise in yarn processing, offers CROCOdoff, new generation of clamping crown. With this yarn clamping and cutting crown can be done with improved functionality and design to meet the requirements of modern
spinning mills.

Automatic and precise setting of opening and closing of CROCOdoff: Closing of the device is set-up at 2,500 RPM of the spindle while opening is set-up at 8,000 RPM.

Recommended application of CROCOdoff is for tubes up to 210 mm (bottom ALU diameter <19 mm) and for all standard materials yarn count Ne 16 and finer. The crown works automatically. Closing and opening is ensured by spindle speed change. Catching area has a meander (CROCO teeth) for catching and cutting the yarn.

CROCOdoff Forte is for heavy duty clamping crown for coarse yarn count. Yarn clamping and cutting crown CROCOdoff Forte has been developed from standard CROCOdoff crown. Its function is on the same principle. Automatical and precise setting of opening and closing of CROCOdoff Forte: closing of the device is set-up at 2,500 RPM of the spindle while opening is set-up at 6,000 RPM.

Extended range of possible application of CROCOdoff for tubes up to 250 mm (bottom ALU diameter up to 22,4 mm) and for coarse counts of cotton, man-made fibres and blends. Recommended for spindle type L HPS 68.

Customer benefits are the same for both CROCOdoff and CROCOdoff Forte:

improved ”CROCO teeth“ solution for clamping yarn and safe yarn cutting
