A team of researchers at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Pune and Central Sericulture Research and Training Institute (CSRTI) Mysore in India, says they have developed a promising technology that can potentially cleanup the dyeing of silk fibres by feeding Bombyx mori silkworm larvae with a modified feed of mulberry leaves containing a sprayed dye solution.
