In January 2015, Claudia Wagner has been appointed Head of Operations / COO at SSM Schärer Schweiter Mettler AG in Horgen. She is in charge for SSM´s global production and supply network.
Wagner holds a master degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. She started her experience in the textile machinery industry in 2007 at ITEMA Weaving. Later she spent one year for ITEMA in Shanghai to develop the supply chain for a new machine. In 2010 Wagner joined SSM and became Head of Strategic Sourcing. She acquired a Swiss Federal Diploma as Purchasing Manager two years later. With Christian Widmer´s transfer to the After Sales Department in March 2014, Wagner started as ad interim head of this department and has now been appointed as a full member of the Management Team of SSM.
