With effect from January 8, 2020 the management of Fagus-GreCon GmbH & Co. KG changes. After 12 years of service, the shareholders relieved Kai Greten of his role as Managing Director, due to irreconcilable differences. The co-shareholder and former long-standing managing director Ernst Greten assumes the management on a temporary basis together with the present managing director Uwe Kahmann.

In the event to inform the employees, Ernst Greten and Uwe Kahmann expressed their thanks to Kai Greten for his successful work and expressly underlined that the successful development followed by the present management will be continued in the future.

Fagus-GreCon Greten is a privately held company located in Alfeld/Hanover, Germany. The GreCon product brand is one of the leading brands in the development and manufacturing of fire protection systems, measuring equipment and inspection systems for many types of industries, including the wood-based panels industry. The Fagus business unit belongs to the leading suppliers of the footwear industry because of the worldwide unique combination of design, lasts and moulds. All business units operate worldwide and offer customer support on the job-site. The Fagus Factory, built in 1911 by architect Walter Gropius, is one of the first examples of architectural modernism and was declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. The Company Group counts more than 650 employees all over the world.
