The Holden Medal for Education, by The Textile Institute, United Kingdom will be conferred on Dr Darlie Koshy, DG and CEO, Apparel Training & Design and Centre (ATDC) and Institute of Apparel Management (IAM), for his outstanding contributions in technology based education at the levels. Kornit Digital has announced that Buck Kim has been appointed as President of Kornit Digital’s Asia-Pacific region. In this capacity, Kim will oversee all of Kornit Digital’s operations in his territories. He follows Eyal Manzoor who was recently appointed as President Kornit in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Texas Tech University professor Seshadri Ramkumar has been selected as the recipient of the 2016 President’s Excellence in Commercialization Award. Ramkumar, a professor of technical textiles and countermeasures to chemical threats in Texas Tech’s Department of Environmental Toxicology and The Institute of Environmental and Human Health (TIEHH), is being recognised for his revolutionary contributions to nonwoven materials.
