The fourth Morocco International Textile Machinery Fair will be opening between March 28-31, 2018 with the participation of domestic and international textile machine professionals. Morocco Textile Machinery will be attracting thousands of visitors from the Middle East the Arabian Gulf, Europe, Russia and CIS countries.

Vipul, Consul General of India, Dubai, said Indian textile companies should explore Dubai platform to boost their business volumes.

The Telangana Government recently announced a host of measures, including a Rs 10.5-crore loan waiver, setting up of handloom and powerloom corporations for implementation of subsidy for yarn, chemicals and dyes, and administrative sanction for a handlooom park in Gadwal city, to boost the handloom sector in the State.

The Textiles Secretary, Anant Kumar Singh disclosed that Ministry of textiles has constituted eight committees comprising industry representatives to formulate standards in technical textile industry. Already 295 standards have been formulated in the areas of medical textiles, geo textiles, industrial textiles, protective textiles.
