Welspun India has incorporated a wholly-owned US subsidiary Welspun Nexgen Inc registered with the State of Delaware, having paid up capital of $4.25 million to make investment in e-commerce companies.

Vietnam’s textile and garment industry has targeted a year-on-year increase of 10 per cent in export value to $34 billion in 2018 despite difficulties in markets at home and abroad, according to Le Tien Truong, General Director of the Vietnam National Garment and Textile Group (Vinatex). He recently reported Vinatex’s performance at a meeting in Hanoi.

An apparel and textiles park will be set up on the outskirts of the state capital for which a land tract spread over more than 100 acres has been earmarked, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said.
