The specially-designed bearings from Chandra Electric are used to withstand frequent change in acceleration, deceleration or sudden change in speed.

M umbai-based Chandra Electric Company is one of the leading manufactures that aims to substitute hitherto imported BLDC motors with drive. The company offers NEMA 23 frame size BLDC motors from 10 to 120 watts in 24vdc, 36vdc and 48vdc (custom voltage motor also can be manufactured) using rare earth magnets as rotor.

Currently, Chandra Electric offers four-pole motors with and without hall effect sensors. End shields are aluminum pressure die cast. The motors have 24Vdc operated speed, and have 3,000-12,000 of rpm. The wattage is around 10 to 120 watts. Motor shafts (machined in CNC m/c) made of carbon steel of 40C8 are as per IS: 1570 standards. They are specially-designed bearings that are used to withstand frequent change in acceleration, deceleration or sudden change in speed.

The motor and drive work in closed loop system. The drive also offers serial communication with basic feature on potential free contact like start/stop and forward/reverse, speed control through POT or PLC (0-5Vdc/10Vdc) as per customers’ choice. BLDC drive apart from brake and encoder compatible are featured with MODBUS, RTD, RS 232, I/O and Relays for handshaking with customer product. The custom-built drive can be made.
