BIGTEX 2019 in Bangladesh from April 4-6

RedCarpet365 Limited organised a conference on March 30, 2019 at Chattogram Press Club on the occasion of 4th Bangladesh Int’l Garment & Textile Machinery Expo 2019. BIGTEX 2019 is the biggest international Garment & Textile Industry expo of Chattogram that will be held from April 4-6, 2019 at GEC Convention Center, Chattogram, Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) is the associate partner, while Well Group is leading from front as partner.
The conference was leaded by Fatematuj Johra, Director Marketing, Redcarpet365, along with Ahmed Imtiaz, CEO, Redcarpet365. Mohd Althaf Uddin, Senior Joint Secretary (Administration), BKMEA Chittagong Office has briefed about BKMEA’s role in this exhibition and in the textile industry of Bangladesh. Syed Sirajul Islam, Managing Director, Well Group, gave his inputs about the importance of these exhibitions and recent needs of quality manufacturers and exporters. Fazle Karim Liton, Managing Director of Jack Machinery Import & Export, Chattogram briefed about potential of Chattogram’s Textile & Garment Machinery Market, Karimullah Chowdhury, Senior Deputy Secretary, BGMEA described the potential & rising apparel market of Chattogram.
Ahmed, CEO of Redcarpet365 Ltd, mentioned that the expo will have almost 135 stalls with products from 15 countries including Bangladesh, India, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Taiwan, Malaysia,Thailand, Turkey, UAE, UK and USA.
He also added, “The vast economic potential of Chittagong, a city with unique advantages of ports, roads and railways, largely remains untapped. The port city can well drive the economy to achieve the coveted middle income status and reach the target of $50 billion garment export. Hosting about 40 percent of the country’s heavy industries and the second RMG heartland, the commercial city. So there is lot of opportunities with sustainable business in this area.”
These exhibitions will play an important role with the latest machinery, technologies, dyes / chemicals, yarns, fabrics available for Bangladesh on display with Manufacturers / Suppliers from the world available to our Industry at the doorstep. Also these expo will provide an opportunity to our experts, engineers & technicians in the field of textile to have a practical knowledge of the recent technological advancements available, without going abroad.
