Biancalani AQUARIA, welcome to the age of water

It is on the basis of market demands, ideas and dreams of designers that Biancalani Textile Machinery has created AQUARIA, a machine so new that it solves production problems and frees up inventiveness, making it possible to carry out work that has never been done before.

More and more often designers seem to look for fabrics made with processes that are not strictly necessary but aimed at creating something different on the visual, tactile and performance side of the fabric. Thanks to water, the textile finishing sector can act as a stimulus for designers: some colours and definitions of the structure, surfaces and volumes can only be obtained thanks to specific, indeed special, washing treatments. And here comes Biancalani, with its new continuous washing machine in open width AQUARIA, patented.

Textile machinery manufacturers have been trying for some time to offer machinery to perform special treatments on fabrics. It was however necessary to transform the process from discontinuous—more expensive—to continuous, with a guarantee of repeatability of the result and higher productions, making it also suitable for every market. And above all, move from rope to open width processing.

Although there are already other finishing machines for open and continuous treatment, none of them was able to transport the fabric through a powerful flow of air during washing. Now there is AQUARIA.
It is on the basis of market demands, ideas and dreams of designers that Biancalani Textile Machinery has created AQUARIA, a machine so new that it solves production problems and frees up inventiveness, making it possible to carry out work that has never been done before. Thanks to this machine, there are no defects, signs, creas marks, folds, no need to reopen the fabric – the operators are finally free like water to think of new creations to propose to the market. Or to finally realise a product so long thought out, but that only thanks to AQUARIA can see the light.

This machine, which thanks to the combination of water and air allows a deep washing action and a high time the fabric remains inside the bath during the treatment cycle, is designed and built thanks to a knowhow of over 30 years, which distinguishes Biancalani in the international textile machinery market and which is based on the AIRO experience.

AQUARIA allows to perform a very wide range of washing processes: enzyme wash, brillation and defibrillation (tencel), bio-polishing, desizing, bleaching, weight reduction, degumming and others, to obtain special results including:

  • delavé and colour reductions
  • enzymatic washing
  • sense treatment for cupro and blended
  • opalescence
  • frosted effect

Furthermore, the modular versatility of AQUARIA satisfies any production need.
